President and founder: JEAN LLEWELLYN
Jean Llewellyn combines a classic blend of knowledge and expertise, as well as a 20-year reputation in the equestrian industry. Formerly a business coordinator and public relations administrator and project manager, within the following sectors:

... she brings a common-sense approach and fresh perspective to resolving every-day as well as crisis management issues.

Jean offers a wide variety of skills accumulated during her pre-equestrian days with her many years as a respected journalist and managing editor within the equine publishing industry.




During the 1990s Jean Llewellyn was contracted to work with a number of high-profile equestrian sponsors, including as media coordinator at the launch of the Samsuns Nations' Cup series.

In 1997 she was invited to join the editorial board of the international publication Breeding News for Sport Horses (a position Jean continues to hold) and in 1999 was appointed by the Organizing Committee of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games to provide an editorial coordination service for their equestrian programme.

Jean Llewellynhas also focused outside the equestrian industry.

In 2001 she was contracted by the University of Calgary Press to work on a number of literary manuscripts covering a wide range of subjects, including Aboriginal, historical, biographical, health, geographical, ethnic and political.
In 2005 she served in a similar capacity with the United Nations Press on a project entitled Industrial Innovation and Environmental Regulation: Developing Workable Solutions.
From 2004 to 2006 Jean served as captain, media coordinator and spokesperson for Blazing Paddles Dragonboat Society in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, developing community and social awareness for an activity that provides physical, mental and spiritual well being regardless of age, gender or pre-requisite skill factors. She also assumed co-management responsibility for the successful creation of a therapeutic paddling group working together with the Comox Valley Head Injury Society.
Also during 2004 to 2006 Jean fulfilled the role of volunteer newsletter coordinator for Comox Valley Growers and Seed Savers, a non-profit organization that focuses on sustainable growing and the conservation of heritage and heirloom varieties of fruits and vegetables.
The winter of 2006 saw Jean on the slopes of Mount Washington as a qualified ski instructor with the Vancouver Island Society for Adaptive Snow Sports, teaching children and adults with disabilities.
